Investigation of the Effect of Humic Acids Using Luminescent Bacteria Test

The effect of commercial humates and preparations of humic substances isolated from different sources on microbial cells was investigated with the luminescent bacteria test. The saturated solutions of humic substances inhibited luminescence of the test objects, and, at the same time, these preparations decreased the detrimental effect of Cu2+ on live cells.
