Ferromagnetic ordering in single-crystalline U2RhSi3 with fully ordered crystal structure

Abstract A Czochralski-grown single crystal of U 2 RhSi 3 has been studied by means of x-ray diffraction, magnetization, electrical resistivity and heat capacity measurements. The phase was revealed to crystallize with a fully ordered crystal structure of the U 2 RuSi 3 -type. Our results implies long-range ferromagnetic ordering in the compound that sets in below T C  = 24 K.
