Feasibility study of electron temperature profile using electron cyclotron emission has been made from the viewpoint of relativistic and refractive effects in JT-60SA plasma, which is characterized by low aspect ratio and high ratio of the plasma frequency to the electron cyclotron frequency. The second harmonic extraordinary mode is preferable for electron temperature profile measurements taking account of the relativistic and refractive effects and spatial resolution. The effect of the internal magnetic field should be taken into account in the determination of spatial position of electron temperature profiles.
