Role of Strike-slips in Spatial Distribution of Oil and Gas in the East of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug

This paper establishes a methodology for doing the analysis of the relative importance associated to the elementary contribution from a single current ring. This ring is induced inside a conductive homogeneous half-space by a circular current finite loop source, for both transmitter and receiver on the surface of the half-space. It presents an analytical demonstration of the existence and draws a 2D picture of a zone of maximum contribution, inside the conductive homogeneous half-space, for the signal measured at the receiver position. This analysis takes the average magnetic energy density as the diagnostic function.
