We studied students who have majored in Hospitality Industry, the impact of career calling, what they have known on self-directed learning ability. Through these relationships, we analyzed empirically the mediated effect of learning immersion. The following research results have been obtained through the result of the analysis. First, the higher the perception about personal meaning in career calling the higher the perception of study planning, practice and evaluation. In addition; the higher the perception about other-oriented meaning, the higher the perception about learning practice and evaluation. However, other-oriented meaning and active participation in career calling have no effect on study planning in self-directed learning ability in the statistics. Second, the other-oriented meaning affects the learning plan through learning immersion rather than directly affecting the learning plan. Personal meaning directly affects the learning plan, at the same time affects the learning plan through learning immersion. And it showed that active participation affects the learning plan through learning immersion rather than directly affecting the learning plans. And the other-oriented meaning and personal meaning had a direct effect on learning practice and also affected learning practice through learning immersion. But, it showed that there is no mediated effect of learning immersion about the effect of active participation in career calling on learning practice. And the other-oriented meaning and personal meaning had a direct effect on learning evaluation and also affected learning practice through learning immersion. Furthermore, it showed that active participation affect the learning evaluation through learning immersion rather than directly affecting the learning evaluations. Based on this research, a University has to help students to make their career path clear as a guide on their career. For example, a university has to explain to the students that selecting their career and making decision are very important.
