Self-focusing of a Laser Beam in a Dusty Plasma

Due to ponderomotive force nonlinearity the plasma particle density undergoes a modification under the action of a laser pulse, leading to its self-focusing. The wave equation is solved in the paraxial ray approximation, after having introduced an appropriate eikonal and constructed a flux conserving Ansatz.
