Parkinson's disease (PD) is progressive neurodegenerative syndrome characterized by motor dysfunctions resulting in general physical diminishment that comes from the body's inability to synthesize and utilize dopamine to control muscle action. A 46-year-old mother of two had been experiencing motor and sensory changes for two years and was diagnosed with PD two months prior to volunteering as a participant.
