Effect of phosphine fumigated rice on the growth of albino rats.
1968
The effect of feeding dee fumigated with phosphine gas (phostoxin tablets) on the gain in weight and
the weights of liven and kidneys as well as the histological changes has been investigated. Even dee
treated with a very high dose of the fumigant (50 tablets per tonne) when fed to animals after aeration,
did not reveal any effects on overall growth, weight of some of the organs and histological changes.
