Characterization of 7LiF:Mg,Ti TLD micro-cubes

Abstract The dosimetric characteristics of 7 LiF:Mg,Ti thermoluminescent micro-cubes (1 × 1 × 1 mm 3 ) were studied with respect to sensitivity, reproducibility, signal stability, and ability to recover a known laboratory-delivered dose. The study shows that 7 LiF:Mg,Ti thermoluminescent micro-cubes could be suitable for the determination of relative output factors in small photon fields of stereotactic radiosurgery.
