Determinación de la Altura dinámica a partir de perfiles de temperatura

2016
Dynamic height is computed from temperature data alone by using a mean T-S relationship to provide salinity values. The method han been applied to data of cruises: EASTROPIC (1967) and CRUISE 076 (1973) in the area of the Costa Rica Dome. The diference between dynamic height calculated using this method and the dynamic height computed from temperature and salinity observations is always smaller than the theoretical uncertainly ( 0.04 m2 /s2).
