Structural changes in compositions containing polyamidocarborane

Structural changes of compositions based on aromatic polyamides, stabilized by a carborane-containing polyamide, have been studied. It was shown that with small additions of the stabilizer, the polymers are compatible. On heat-treating the compositions, single phase systems are formed with any ratio of the components, which is due to their chemical interaction. The influence of the compatibility factor on the efficiency of the stabilizing action of the carborane-containing polyamide was demonstrated.
