Comparision of four methods applying to testing liver fluke infections

Objective:To compare the testing results of four methods applying to clonorchis sinensis infections.Methods:Direct smear of feces,centrifugal sedimentation with hydrochloric acid and aether, the improved centrifugal sedimentation with hydrochloric acid and aether,and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay of serum are applied to testing the clonorchis sinensis infections.Results: The positive detection rate of the clonorchis sinensis infections by the above-mentioned four methods is 7.72%,11.31%,11.49%and 12.39%respectively.Conclusion;The improved centrifugal sedimentation with hydrochloric acid and aether is the most suitable way for pathogenic diagnosis of clonorchis sinensis.
