Survival Impact of Taohongsiwu Decoction on the Random Flap on the Back of Rats

Objective: To investigate the survival impact of Taohongsiwu decoction on the random flap on the back of SD rats.Methods: 40 SD rats were randomly divided into one Taohongsiwu decoction group and one control group.The backs of theses rats were made with 2 cm × 8 cm random flap to detect the rate of flap survival and microvascular density(MVD) respectively.Results: The flap survival rate of Taohongsiwu decoction group in 7d was higher than that of the control group(P0.05).More new blood vessels were seen within the flap of the Taohongsiwu decoction group.The unit MVD under high-power field was higher than that of the control group(P0.05).Conclusion: The oral administration of Taohongsiwu decoction can promote the survival ratio of the random flap on the backs of the rats,and its mechanism may have relation with the flap angiogenesis.
