The invention discloses a heavy chain antibody VHH for influenza a virus H1N1. The antibody has the nucleotide sequence of SEQIDNO. 36, 37, 38, 39 or 40, and the nucleotide sequences are used for encoding the heavy chain antibody VHH for the influenza a virus H1N1. The antibody has the series of amino acid as follows: the amino acid series comprises a framework area FR and a complementary decision area (CDR), namely amino acid sequence of FR in the framework area and the amino acid sequence in the complementary decision area CDR. The invention also discloses an application of the heavy chain antibody VHH for the influenza a virus H1N1 in diagnosing the influenza a virus H1N1 and a host cell. Through the disclosed nano antibody gene sequence and host cell, the nano antibody can be high-efficiently expressed in the colibacillus so as to specifically recognize the influenza a virus H1N1, and the nano antibody can be used for researching an influenza virus H1N1 detection reagent.
