Analysis of isoenzymes of peroxidase of insect-resistant varieties in upland cotton (G. hirsutum L.)

2003
This experiment used insect resistant varieties in upland as materials. The polyacrylamide gel electropherosis method was used to analyze the peroxidase isoenzymes between 10 cotton variety when the seeds were germinated on 20 days .This experiment aimed at exploring some difference of variety .The results showed that :There were some difference among peroxidase isoenzyme zymograms in cotyledons, roots, stems and leaves of 10 cotton varieties.Stems' zymograms were the most, next roots, thirdly cotyledons and finally leaves.Cotyledons' peroxidase isozyme zymograms existed the most discrepancy among all of the organs. There were some difference of peroxidase isoenzyme vigor in all of the organs among cotton varieties.Roots' enzyme vigor were the most, next leaves and finally cotyledons. These varieties from different districts were closely related and the classification on molecular level was more accurate than those on morphological or ecological bases.
