Substituted biaryl compound

The present invention provides a substituted biaryl compound represented by general formula (I) (wherein R 1 , W, R 2 and Z are as defined in the claims and the description) or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof. The compound according to the present invention has an excellent effect of inhibiting the proliferation of a pulmonary fibroblast, and is therefore useful as a therapeutic agent and/or a prophylactic agent for interstitial pneumonia and pulmonary fibrosis.
