Critical Evaluation of Antihypertensive Pharmacotherapy

1986
The second round table discussion was held to evaluate critically the significance of new drugs (calcium antagonists, angiotensin I-converting enzyme inhibitors, serotonin antagonists) presented during the preceding morning session. The following summary reviews the pharmacologic properties of these drugs and their place in the presently known rationale of antihypertensive therapy.
