ObjectivesAutosomal dominant nocturnal frontal lobe epilepsy (ADNFLE) is characterized by a strong family history of epileptic seizures, which predominantly occur during sleep. ADNFLE has been associated with mutations in two genes coding for the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (CHRNA4 and CHRNB2).
