A Separation Cell for Heavy-Mineral Concentration: RESEARCH METHOD PAPER

ABSTRACT A heavy-mineral separator using flowing water was developed to facilitate rapid separation of heavy minerals over a wide range of specific gravity from composite samples. This hydrocell technique is inexpensive and efficient, and is environmentally safe because it does not involve heavy liquids.
