EFFECTS OF DEFORMATION ON Tc OF Bi OXIDE

Effects of deformation on the T c value is studied for the Bi 1.6 Pb 0.4 Sr2Ca2Cu3O x . The deformation increases T c of the Bi 1.6 Pb 0.4 Sr2Ca2Cu3O x after the annealing. The larger the pressure of the deformation, the higher the T c values. Based on the results of x-ray diffraction and electrical resistivity, the T c value is dominated by carrier concentration and the crystal perfection of the lattice ordering.
