Study on Establishment and Operation Mechanism of Long-term Epidemic Prevention Team after Wenchuan Earthquake Disaster

To establish a resident epidemic prevention team which can undertake the long-time disease prevention is an urgent requirement after the earthquake disaster. According to epidemic prevention situations after earthquake, the local government integrated multiform resources, applied the organization form which included grade responsibility system, dividing up the work and assigning a part to each individual or group, unit and individual responsibility system, enhanced the capability of community workers and foreign aid teams, adopted the working mechanism of the combination of center for disease control and prevention, institute for health inspection and community. With operation mechanisms which included partial operation, community implementation, key attack, follow supervision, internal inspection, immediate feedback of information and convenient supply of drugs and instruments, a local-based epidemic prevention team which can effectively undertake the responsibility for the region disease prevention work had been established, the feasible operation mechanism was explored and set up, which can effectively protect the life and health of people in disaster area.
