Power generation control apparatus, solar power system, and power generation control method

A power generation control apparatus (14) is provided with a solar battery control unit (18) and a range setting unit (20). The solar battery control unit (18) treats an operating current and/or an operating voltage as a drive variable in calculating actual generated power of a solar battery (13) while varying the variable within a first range. The solar battery control unit (18) causes the solar battery (13) to generate power using the drive variable which maximizes the generated power within the first range. The range setting unit (20) updates the first range on the basis of the maximum generated power and on the basis of a rated PV curve or an approximation line for the rated PV curve, and/or a rated PI curve or an approximation line for the rated PI curve.
