The article examines labor in Brazil in the first decade of the 21 st century. Results show that unlike trends in many developed countries - there was a (re) structuring process of the labor market and work relations, with an advancement of formalization, salary increases and collective bargaining, and a drop in unemployment in a context of greater economic growth and implementation of public policies with significant positive impacts on the world of work.
