Strenghts of the Austrian Innovation System. Scientific Profiling and Synergies with Firm Innovative Activities

This study supports the research action plan of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Science, Research and Economic Affairs. It analyses strenghts and weaknesses of the competitiveness of the Austrian research area (consisting of universities, non-university research institutes, universities of applied sciences and firms) and pinpoints the crucial bottlenecks for further improving the performance of the Austrian research area.
