Improving the Dry Quenching of Coke

Abstract—Means of more efficient dry quenching of coke are considered. The interaction of the coke with the circulating gas is described. The influence of this interaction on the quality of coke and its losses is studied. The refitting of the dry-quenching system at AO EVRAZ NTMK is outlined.
