A modified design of photon personal dosemeter to measure the ICRU personal monitoring quantity Hp(10)

A modified design of dosemeter has been developed to measure the personal dose equivalent at 10 mm, H p (10) for photon radiations. By means of a combination filter comprised of a plastic dome and an aluminium disc, an improved H p (10) response relative to current designs of two element dosemeter is obtained for photon energies down to 20 keV and for angles of incidence up to 60°
