Hidden fold-out tray table

The present disclosure is directed to a table, which optionally in a portion of a vehicle console (12) can be stowed. An outer housing member (14) comprising a storage cavity (16) therein is mounted on one side of the vehicle console (12). A support arm (18) supporting a table (20) is mounted with respect to a displacement or sliding and rotating movement of the vehicle console (12). The support arm (18) is displaceable in a first direction from a storage position, the table (20) in a vertical orientation within the cavity (16) of said outer housing member (14) is positioned. The support arm (18) is further rotated from the storage position by 270 ° in order to move the table (20) after moving out of the storage position into a horizontal use position.
