Fracture analysis and process improvement on industry pump crankshaft

Fracture cause of the industry pump crankshaft made of 35CrMoA steel was analyzed from crankshaft structure,chemical composition and microstructure.The results show that too small value of the transition fillet radius of the crankshaft and microstructure defect of network ferrite in the steel are main reasons for the fracture crankshaft.The improvement measures were put forward,and received good results.
