Impact of Training on Firms’ Performance

This paper aims to understand the effects of training on firm performance by reviewing the results of previous studies that have investigated the relationship between training and human resource, performance, and financial outcomes. The results of literature collected for theses study suggests that training is positively related to organizational level outcomes which leads to positive organizational performance but is only very weakly related to financial outcomes. This research may be important for practitioners dealing with training and firm performance in the workplace. Training is a valuable path to follow when an organization would like to improve its performance.
