Cold Water Bath is a laboratory instrument that serves to maintain a stable temperature in accordance with the desire d sample through the medium of water. To obtain the desired temperature stabilit y . Factors that affect the serum incubation process is a kind of temperature and time of incubation. To get good results incubation, the temperature must be kept constant throughout the sample in a test tube. In this thesis the author makes the tool "Cold Waterbath atmega8 microcontroller based" with 2-B° C temperature setting and 24 hours. In making this tool the authors designed using microcontroller IC At mega-8 as the main controller, which is controlled by a timer and temperature LCD display. From the analysis results obtained error value obtaine d from the measurement time is 0.99%for 24 hours and the error value derive d from temperature measurements was 0.06%for 2-B°C.
