Investigations on Non-governmental Hospitals in Shanxi

Objective To understand the state of development and current problems in non-governmental hospitals of Shanxi and to explore it by collecting quantitative and qualitative data.Methods Investigations in the form of questionnaires were made on the non-governmental hospitals in province-wide and a descriptive analysis was made.Results Non-governmental hospitals in Shanxi province witnessed fast development,but they were generally small-scaled,uneven distributed,lacked of human resources,paid special attention to the unique features of specialties,And the working efficiency and benefits were low.Conclusion Non-governmental hospitals should conform to the new situation,seize the development opportunity brought by the new policy,strengthen their management and construction,pay attention to the introduction of talents and training,manage sincerely,promote themselves health,sustained and rapid development.The government should implement the policy well,to encourage and support the development of non-governmental hospitals,hair to speed up the formation of diversified do medical pattern.
