Investigation on epidemiological characteristics and prevention and control means of viral hepatitis in community

Objective To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of viral hepatitis from 2005 to 2011 in Plum blossom village Street of Yuexiu District in Guangzhou,so as to provide scientific basis for the prevention and control of hepatitis,and make feasible community prevention and control measures.Methods The viral hepatitis infection situation from 2005 to 2011 in Plum blossom village Street reported on net was summarized and analyzed by using descriptive epidemiological method.Results Results A total of 1 443 cases of viral hepatitis occurred from 2005 to 2011 in Plum blossom village Street.The average annual incidence was 259.91 /100 000,and the disease rate trend was fluctuating down.Spring was the season with a high incidence of viral hepatitis,which accounted for 31.19%,and the incidence in winter was the least,accounting for 17.33 %.Group at the age from 20 to 39 years old had the highest incidence,while the incidence of group aged from 0 to 19 years old was the least.Conclusions Injecting hepatitis b vaccine for all kinds of people,carrying out health education in the community,and completing viral hepatitis network report are the key measures to control and reduce the incidence of viral hepatitis.
