Research on Mass Remote Sensing Image Data Storage Technology

This paper investigates the challenging issues and technologies in managing mass remote sensing images,and gives an overview of the works and enabling technologies in the related areas.Based on the analysis,a specially designed architecture of mass remote sensing image management called D-MaRISS is proposed.The key components and core features are described.Experimental results show that the approach can effectively improve read/write performance in multiple user environment.
