Notes on a system for the investigation of nonlinear dielectric effects

A description is given of some improvements and modifications to an apparatus (Bradley et al. 1974) using a computing counter, as well as an appraisal of the problems that arise for more highly conducting samples. The apparatus used basically consists of an oscillator, incorporating a calibration capacitor using air and quartz dielectrics.
