An object of the present invention is to improve the brightness of emitted light and suppress side lobes and moire interference fringes. An optical component includes a substantially hemispherical micro lens and a triangular prism lens on a first main surface of a base. A plurality of prism lenses 15 are arranged in one direction. The aspect ratio TL2 / TM1 of the height of the prism lens 15 and the microlens 15 is set from 10% to 90% with the first main surface 13a as a reference. The area ratio Mb / Ma of the microlens 15 with respect to the first major surface 13a in a plan view is 25% to 88%. On the second main surface 13b of the base material 13, the third convex portions 18 made of microlenses are randomly provided to improve the diffusibility of incident light. [Selection] Figure 1
