Evaluation of vaccination safety in children with mastocytosis.

2017
Mastocytosis is a disease characterized by increased mast cell density in various tissues, including the skin, hematopoietic organs and gastrointestinal tract (1). Mastocytosis may appear in both children and adults. Childhood mastocytosis is more frequently limited to the skin and resolves spontaneously in the majority of cases (2) whereas adult mastocytosis is usually systemic and may have an indolent or aggressive course (1).
