ANALISIS PENERIMAAAN PEMUSTAKA TERHADAPINSTITUTIONAL REPOSITORY BERBASIS E-PRINTSDI PERPUSTAKAAN UNIVERSITAS ‘AISYIYAH YOGYAKARTA SEBUAH PENDEKATAN INTEGRATIF ANTARA TECHNOLOGY ACCEPTANCE MODEL DAN END USER COMPUTING SATISFACTION

The development of information necessity demands university library to always develop the service provided by it too. Nowadays, many of the library visitors need the information to be available both printed and digital. By this phenomenon, the Library of ’Aisyiyah Yogyakarta University develops an institutional repository system based on E-prints. This system is expected able to fulfill the need of information by the library visitors. The consideration of E-prints usage follows many libraries in Indonesia which already implemented it. For more than one year, the access toward institutional repository system is significantly increasing. However, it is still uncertain about the effectiveness on the user. Hence, this research aims to analyze the acceptance of library visitors to the system. For the analysis method, this research buses integration concept between Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS). In addition, the trial uses Component Based Structural Equation Model or Partial Least Square (PLS) with SmartPlS 3 software. The subject of the research is the library visitors who become the user of institutional repository system. There are 135 samples of library visitors who had accessed and used the information from the system. The result of this research shows only two of six exogenous variables are positively and significantly influential to the acceptance of institutional repository system based on E-prints usage in the library of ‘Aisyiyah Yogyakarta University. Those two variables are accuracy and time. Thus, the other four variables; that consist of usage, user facility, content, and format; do not influence positively and significantly to the acceptance of this system. From the analysis, it can be concluded that institutional repository system based on E-prints is unable to satisfy the library visitors of ‘Aisyiyah Yogyakarta University Library. Therefore, it is necessary to develop the system in terms of its usage, user facility, content, and format in order to maximize the acceptance of the system.
