Hamish Fulton : Magpie : Two River Walks

Fulton’s contribution to the publication consists of landscape photographs and texts from his 14-day walk along the Milk River and seven-day walk through the Badlands of southeastern Alberta. Stacey’s essay touches on questions concerning the status of artworks when they take the form of a walk through the landscape. He analyzes Fulton’s use of photography and text, and provides art historical/geographical information relevant to the river walks.
