Coloboma of the lens associated with coloboma of the alar nasal cartilages in a pair of female monozygotic twins: A new syndrome?

The authors describe an association of alar-nasal coloboma, lens coloboma and skeletal abnormalities in monozygotic twins belonging to a family with high myopia, skeletal deformities and lens coloboma. Such association may represent a new syndrome, which up to now has not been reported in the literature.
