Material particulado de reciclado de llantas como una alternativa para la bio-remoción de contaminantes Particulate Matter from tire recycling as an alternative to the bio-pollutant removal

2013
It is known that oil spills (crude oil) in water and soil have become a chronic environmental problem in areas of extraction and transport, the same happens with the open and indiscriminate disposal of automotive tires, so is to determine the technical feasibility of using the absorbent capacity of hydrocarbons (oil) for tires as waste material, and to assist each other for subsequent biodegradation. It is expected to, implement the foundation for a methodology aimed at reducing the environmental impact caused by accidental spills of oil and its derivatives, as well as the use of waste vulcanized rubber. This work intends to perform the kinetic study of the absorption of light crude in Campeche cylindrical particulate tire material with three different diameters, three contact conditions for the absorption of oil.
