Recent developments in chemical vapor generation atomic spectrometry for zinc detection

2019
Abstract As an essential micronutrient, zinc (Zn) plays an important role in the human health and pollution monitoring. Chemical vapor generation (CVG) is the most popular and widely used introduction method for determination of Zn by analytical atomic spectrometry (AS). This paper presents a brief and systemic review for Zn detection by CVG based on the recently developed atomic techniques, including atomic fluorescence spectrometry (AFS), atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS), atomic emission spectrometry (AES) and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). This review also discussed the future perspectives of this field.
