A review of state-of-the-art in torque generation and control of floating vertical-axis wind turbines

Large-scale floating vertical axis wind turbines have great potential for offshore applications. This paper will review the recent developments for generating torque and controlling vertical-axis wind turbines (VAWTs) specifically for floating applications.
