Use of Eulerian and arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian (ALE) techniques for shock-wave multimaterial continuum flows becomes more and more significant owing to their advantages, as compared to Lagrangian techniques, and of most importance among these advantages are that they provide crash-proof computations, easier preparation of initial data, less labor-intensity and less dependence of results on the computation executor skills.
