Interactive computer system and usage environment fitting device and method

PURPOSE: To change a user interface according to the taste of a user by mapping an operator on a user display panel to the operator on a corresponding original display panel. CONSTITUTION: At the time of converting a user interface 103 of a large-scaled computer 102 into a user interface 104 of a work station 101, the correspondence of display panel set and the correspondence of operator set available on each panel is operated between the original user interface 103 and the user interface 104 requested by a user. Thus, the fitting of the user interface can be attained. Also, the user interface environment suitable to the taste of the user can be attained.
