Modele D’Optimisation Des Courbes D’Alerte Pour La Gestion De Reservoirs En Vue De L’Irrigation Et De La Production D’Electricite

1981
AbstractA model of efficient management is proposed for a hydro-thermal power system where the water in storage is a dominant part of an agricultural system. The water reserves must meet the irrigational needs before being used as a means of reducing the cost of satisfying the power demand. A methodology, based on the use of reference-level curves, permits a closed-loop policy of operation. Simulating the system over a set of past observed water inflows and taking a deterministic approach to the optimization problem allows the calculation of suboptimal reference-level curves. A numerical test is performed and is based on Morocco power system. The general approach is very similar to the one used by researchers of Electricite de France. However, the mathematical aspects of our method are extremely simple and can easily be implemented by practising engineers. An interactive procedure was used to “design” new reference-level curves. Results are given.
