The invention discloses a method for performing solidification/stabilizing treatment on high-concentration water-soluble manganese in manganese residues. The method comprises the following steps: (1) dispersing active silica with water, thereby forming a mixed solution; (2) adding the mixed solution into the manganese residues, and stirring for 1-3 minutes; (3) adding magnesium oxide, and stirring for 30-40 minutes; and (4) aging for 7-14 days, wherein the amount of the active silica is 1-5 percent of the weight of the manganese residues. According to the method for performing solidification/stabilizing treatment on high-concentration water-soluble manganese in the waste residues provided by the invention, the manganese leaching concentration can be reduced, and the pH value of the treated manganese residues can be kept in a range from 6 to 9.
