Analisis Kualitas Statistika Produksi Billet Di PT. X - Quality Statistical Analysis Of Billet Production At PT. X

PT. X adalah perusahaan yang memproduksi billet, dimana billet yang dihasilkan memiliki dua karakteristik yang saling berhubungan yaitu non metallic inclusion dan grain size. Pemeriksaan kualitas telah dilakukan oleh perusahaan ini, akan tetapi hanya berdasarkan batas spesifikasi, oleh karena itu dilakukan pengendalian kualitas statistika untuk mengetahui proses produksi billet telah stabil/terkendali secara statistik atau tidak, serta untuk menemukan penyebab ketidaksesuaian pada proses produksi. Pengendalian kualitas yang dilakukan adalah Generalized Variance untuk mengendalikan varians, T2 Hotelling untuk mengendalikan rata-rata, serta kapabilitas proses untuk mengetahui apakah proses produksi telah kapabel atau tidak. Berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilakukan didapatkan hasil bahwa proses produksi billet periode bulan Januari, Februari, dan Maret 2016 telah terkendali dengan asumsi tidak terjadinya penyebab out of control, serta hasil proses produksi billet tidak kapabel. ======================================================================================================================== PT. X is a company produces billet, where its product has two quality characteristics dependently, which are non metallic inclusion and grain size. Quality control has been done here, but based on its specification limits only, therefore by knowing the billet production is statistically in control or not and to find the cause of the unconforming products, statistical quality control is needed. Generalized variance is used for quality controlling based on the variance, T2 Hotelling based on the mean, and also capability process to know whether the process is capable or not. Based on the analysis,it’s given that the production process in January until March 2016 is statistically in control, with an assumption that there aren’t out of control causes but the capability process shows that the production process isn’t capable.
