Bemerkungen zu spontan gebrochenen Symmetrien

Spontaneously Broken Symmetries are defined and discussed from a qualitative point of view. Common properties and differences with usual symmetries are pointed out. It is stressed that Goldstone's Theorem is in many cases not applicable and that therefore the observed approximate hadron symmetries might be interpretable as spontaneously broken ones. Several examples in Quantum Electrodynamics are given.
