The invention discloses a flexibility solar heat preservation liquid-crystal-polymer thin film and a preparing method thereof. The thin film is prepared from 58.5% to 78.5% of liquid crystals, 1% to 3% of azo dye and 19.5% to 39.5% of polymers. The preparing method of the flexibility solar heat preservation liquid-crystal-polymer thin film includes the following steps that 1, the liquid crystals, the azo dye and polymer prepolymers are adequately and evenly mixed in a darkroom or under red light; 2, the mixture forms a liquid film with the thickness of 10 microns to 500 microns in a coating mode; 3, irradiating is carried out with ultraviolet light for 0.5 minute to 30 minutes, a polymerization reaction is triggered, the liquid crystals and the azo dye form micro-droplets distributed in the polymers, and the flexibility solar heat preservation liquid-crystal-polymer thin film is prepared. According to the prepared flexibility solar heat preservation liquid-crystal-polymer thin film, objects and air covered with the thin film can be heated under the irradiating of high-energy light of sunlight; when sunlight does not exist at night, infrared rays emitted by the objects covered with the thin film are reflected, energy losses are reduced accordingly, and the better heat preservation effect is achieved.
