Features of convection in thin films due to van der Waals pressure

An investigation is made into the influence of van der Waals pressure on the conditions of occurrence of convection in a thin horizontal film of viscous and viscoelastic liquid with a deformable free surface and also the stability of the flat shape of the free surface in the absence of a temperature gradient.
